A classic friends to lovers scenario... we first met back in 2017 when we were first starting our careers in architecture, working at the same firm in Washington, D.C. Starting out as co-workers, we (slowly) became good friends. As our friendship grew, so did our feelings for one another and now, here we are.

Thanksgiving 2022: We decide to take a trip up to Vermont with Carlos' family to spend it in a snowy cabin. We had visited Vermont before and absolutely fell in love with it, and we were all dying to go back. A couple days before Thanksgiving, we all drive to the Von Trapp Family Lodge for a lunch, Christine thinking it's just a casual family lunch, and then Carlos disappears all of the sudden. His family guides Christine to a beautiful snowy mountain edge during golden hour and that's where Carlos was waiting to propose. It was perfect, magical and, the warmest of moments on a snowy day.
