Ceremony

The ceremony will take place outdoors in the garden area of the Thornhill Education Center. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors within the Thornhill Education Center. We advise that you take note of the weather one day prior to the wedding. Once the ceremony has concluded, guests will ushered into the reception area after a brief intermission.
Cocktails and Intermission
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Once the ceremony has concluded, enjoy a brief intermission by having a cocktail and a little chit-chat. There shall be an open bar with a beer, wine and soda selection along with the two featured drinks; Lavender Lemonade (Alcohol-Free) and the Lavender Whisky.
Reception

The reception will take place within the ballroom of the Thornhill Education Center. Guests shall be served a brunch-style buffet spread. Since this will be a buffet there is no need to provide a meal preference. Gluten-free and vegan option shall be provided. Below is the list of menu items that will be provided at the buffet: - Belgium Waffle (V): mixed berry compote, warm syrup, whipped cream - Chicken Saltimbocca (GF): provolone, sage, prosciutto, sage cream sauce - Penne rosso (V) : seasonal vegetables, red pepper cream

Casual Attire
Once the wedding has concluded, each guest may enjoy the full range of the Morton Arboretum free of charge. It's advised that our guests bring a change of clothes so they may walk the trails or allow their children to enjoy the numerous play areas. You may wish to relocate your vehicle to the main parking area at the visitor's center. In addition to exploring the arboretum, guests may also make themselves comfortable at the Visiter's Center dining area where you may enjoy a drink or perhaps a gourmet pizza with a great view.
