Think casual cocktail attire - we'd love to see you dress up, but none too formal! Late July temperatures in Lander hover around 86° / 50° You may be warm when we start and appreciate a light layer as the evening progresses. Our wedding and reception will take place in a barn/outdoors/uneven ground. We suggest dresses and sandals or comfortable & stable heels. Think button-down shirts with slacks and a little personal flare. Please, no jeans or athletic wear. (unless you're going to style jeans in a fancy Wyoming fashion!)
We know people are traveling far to come to our wedding and finding childcare at home can be challenge. We also value that families might want to make a vacation out of the Wyoming adventure! Children are welcome to attend but we will try to provide some reference for local babysitting/care if folks want to be kid free for the night. For guests bringing children, we ask that you are considerate about the costs & impacts of your kids. We want all our guests to have a great time and you'll definitely see our niece & nephews in the bridal party!
We are working on a shuttle to bring people to and from the wedding venue from the Lander Art District. In total the distance is only about 1.5 miles, so we also encourage bicycles or rideshares.
