FAQs

Question

What should I bring if I want to stay at one of the small cabins onsite?

Answer

The cabins have electricity but not much else, so please bring your own sleeping setup — an air mattress or sleeping bag, blanket, pillow, toiletries, towel, bug spray, and a small fan. There are shared bathrooms and showers in the group area. If you have any questions, feel free to text us at (615) 945-9943.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No! Wear whatever you are comfortable in. We will be in a state park so good shoes are recommended.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Park anywhere you can see inside of group camp one. There is a main parking lot in-front of the dining hall, but anywhere in front of the cabins is fine.

Question

Should I bring snacks? Alcohol?

Answer

We’ll have lots of snacks and drinks available, but please feel free to bring anything you like.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

Yes, they are allowed at the park. Please just pick up after them.

Question

What are the park rules?

Answer

No balloons or Silly String. No swimming in the lake attached to the camp ground. The dock is for fishing. Fire pits are only allowed at the boat dock and picnic pavilion. .
