Wynand proposed to Veronica near her parents’ home in Fornalutx, Spain. Wynand took Veronica to hike around a beautiful lake in the mountains above the village. He told Veronica that he had a surprise, and Veronica thought he had brought snacks on their hike. Instead he pulled out an engagement ring and asked her to marry him, and she said yes! A few moments later, a donkey, one of Veronica’s favorite animals, walked out of the forest!
