We first met officially when a new store in the mall was hiring help. Zach as the general manager and myself as one of his assistants. We clicked almost immediately, playing games and joking around with each other all the time, and within a few weeks, we went out for the first time. Breaking the very strict no fraternization rule. Oops.

We actually worked right across the hall from each other for almost a year and somehow never met. During that time, both of us almost moved to the same cities, Orem, UT and Bozeman, MT, for work. In both of those opportunities we turned down, we would have worked in the same hallway in the same mall.

A fun extra long weekend trip to Spokane for our anniversary turned into a quick trip weekend instead, thanks to Gina, Grace's car, deciding to not operate and all the money we had saved for the trip turned into car fix money. Zach's plan to propose had to shift, going to Bozeman to propose at Palisade Falls. Once we got to the falls, the road up was closed due to all the snow. Quick shift once again, we ended up going down a sketchy road in Livingston to Pine Creek Falls. Went in, did a baby hike, and came out engaged. Wouldn't change a thing <3
