It started in 2017: witty banter during choir rehearsals, a spur of the moment coffee date, a mutual affection for classical music, and the abrupt realization that this was a love for a lifetime. Faith went on to attend Smith College, and Chris went on to Holy Cross, both pursuing majors in Classics (with a second major in English for Faith and a minor in Art for Chris). When COVID hit, they moved in with Faith's parents in Newport, VT, solidifying VT as an essential part of their story (and eventual wedding site!). After a year in North Carolina for Faith and senior year of college for Chris, they moved to Philadelphia, joined by their dog, Hannah, and four cats. There they've built their lives together, surrounded by books, playful debate, music, and many, many houseplants. Chris proposed on December 26, 2023, at Faith's parents' house: the culmination of that long-ago realization that this is, in fact, a love for a lifetime.
