Shari Wyche
Bride
Shari is 50 years young and this is her first time being married. Shari has a Master's Degree in Emergency Management and an Accounting Degree. She is currently on the path to getting a PhD, so we will soon be calling her Dr. Wyche. Shari works for the U.S. Government in the Department of Health and Human Services. She has one daughter, Jasmin and one bad ass cat named Dink! Shari is a native being born in Washington, D.C., but growing up as an Army brat, she went to high school overseas in Germany. She has since lived in Southern Maryland all her adult life and is an avid lover of Maryland Crabs!
Sandra Parker

Sandra is 48 years young and this is her first time getting married. Sandra has a Bachelors Degree, with a major in Business and a minor in U.S. History. Sandra works in Washington, D.C. in the Commercial Real Estate industry . She is very politically inclined and is a steadfast member of the Democratic National Committee. Although, Sandra was born in Connecticut she identifies strongly with her Southern family roots and loves spending time in North Carolina. Some of the things that Sandra and Shari hold in common are a love of travel, culture, family and God.

Maid of Honor
Shari's good friend and partner in crime that she's known for 40 years. True story, Shari met Sharn when they were 11 years old in the school cafeteria. Shari was very quiet, shy and mostly kept to herself where as Sharn was the exact opposite! Shari was sitting at a table in the cafeteria eating her lunch and Sharn walked up to her and asked if anyone was sitting next to her and when she said no, Sharn proceeded to sit down next to her and started talking to her. She said to Shari, "I think we're going to be good friends" and Shari cried because Sharn scared her...lol Needless to say that Sharn was right and they've now been friends for 40 years and Sharn made sure that she broke Shari out of being so shy & quiet.

Derrick is the cousin and ace-boon-coon to the Bride-Groom. Derrick and Sandra spent many a nights in their wayward youth running the gritty, city streets of Philadelphia. Derrick has since grown to a fine family man with his wife, Michelle and their 3 children.
Ramona Winder
Bridesmaid
Shari's good friend & running buddy that she's known for 35 years. They met in Munich, Germany where they both attended Munich American HS. Shari lived in Frankfurt, Germany but on a trip to Munich with her parents, they met & became fast friends, shortly thereafter Shari's family moved to Munich. They hung out everyday & went shopping downtown Munich (sometimes during school hours). They were always together, including dances/lock-ins at the teen center, walks through the park & wooded paths, partied together, watched out for each other & sometimes got in trouble together...lol They had such a blast in Germany until Shari graduated & moved back to the "World" in 1984. Later in life Mona married her husband Stephon who sometimes would watch the kids so the girls could still hang out .
George Parker

George is the older brother and friend to the Bride-Groom. George can always be counted on for a good laugh, a pat on the shoulder or a good butt whooping; whatever the situation calls for. George resides in North Carolina with his wife Alice. They have 3 children and two grandchildren and a warm and lovely home where they make everyone feel welcome.

Bridesmaid
Shari's good friend and trouble maker that she's known for 22 years. Tina and Shari met each other while working at the IRS together. They ate lunch together almost everyday, talked about their crazy supervisors, hung out quite often outside of work, and spent time with each others families. They have now come full circle as Shari was a Bridesmaid in Tina's wedding when she married her husband Vaughn, now it's payback time so it's now Tina's turn to be a Bridesmaid in Shari's wedding. Funny enough, Shari's getting married at the same place Tina had her wedding so many years ago. Besides, Shari's wedding planning & running errands for the wedding is a perfect excuse for Shari & her girls to hang out and spend more time together.
Jake Jr Parker

Jake Jr is the younger brother to the bride-groom. He is the baby of the family and took a lot of guff from his older siblings while growing up. Jake Jr quickly learned to stand on his own two feet and has grown into a hard working family man. He resides in North Carolina with his wife Diashema and their two children.
Jasmin Wyche

Shari's daughter will be serving as the couple's ring bearer to honor her mother and Sandra's union and the three of them joining as a family.
