Wyatt and Sharon met in high school in Ms. Simlick’s computer lab, where Wyatt had a way of charming everyone into doing his typing homework — and Sharon was the only girl who could hang out at his desk without getting in trouble. A friendship quickly grew. Their unofficial first date came a few years later: dinner at Chili’s, followed by ice cream at Rite Aid, where they sat in the parking lot talking for hours. Weeks later, after a few more outings and meeting each other’s families, they officially started dating on November 25, 2017, after a day of Christmas tree hunting in the mountains. From then on, they shared almost everything — college classes, countless ice cream dates, and many adventures. Even a three-hour distance during college didn’t slow them down, and when Sharon moved across the country to Indiana, daily FaceTime, long calls, and their nightly prayers together kept them close. With a year of long distance behind them, Wyatt started his own business and Sharon bought her first home. Finally, in December 2025, Wyatt proposed in front of the Rockefeller Tree in New York City. Through every season, Sharon and Wyatt have chosen each other — and are grateful to begin the next chapter surrounded by the people they love most.
