Travel & Accommodations

The Wedding Website of Sarah Dvorak and Wyatt Langhi
Nestled along the Ligurian Sea in Northern Tuscany, Castiglioncello is accessible from a number of major airports, by car or by train. The Castiglioncello train station is 5 minutes by car or a 10 minute walk to the main streets where many hotels and restaurants are. We recommend flying into Pisa or Florence, and then taking the train to Castiglioncello. Trenitalia (the national train line) is one of the most common means of transportation in Italy, and you'll see unparalleled views of beautiful Tuscany. Pisa International Airport Galileo Galilei (PSA): - 40 minutes by car - 1 hour by train Amerigo Vespucci Airport, Florence (FLR): - 1 hour 20 minutes by car - 1.5-2 hours by train Once you arrive at the Train Station in Castiglioncello, Villa Parisi has offered to assist with calling taxis for the 5 minute drive to the Villa. Alternatively, some guests may opt to hire a private transfer (link below) or rent a car and drive directly to the Villa. Parking is available on-site.

Train

Trenitalia

The national train line, best for trips from large cities/airports to smaller towns like Castiglioncello. For trains from Florence airport (FLR)- a tram runs directly between the airport and Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station every 5-10 minutes. For trains from Pisa airport (PSA)- a shuttle connects the airport directly to Pisa Centrale Train Station and runs every 5-8 minutes. See the FAQs for more information about purchasing train tickets!

Travel Note

Taxi Information

Taxis are available at airports and in larger towns such as Florence and Pisa, but ridesharing apps like Uber don’t operate in this region. If you opt to not take a train, we recommend pre-booking transfers or using local taxis.

Travel Note

Private Transfers

Viator is a great option for those seeking to hire private transfers directly to the Villa. Here is a link for a private transfer from Pisa or Florence's airport directly to Castiglioncello through Viator (Trip Advisor's website for booking excursions/transport).
