We Eloped!

Wyatt grew up in Titusville, Florida, always dreaming of the Pacific Northwest—the misty, lush forests and quiet coastal towns. Joining the Coast Guard gave him the chance to chase that dream. His first station was in Astoria, Oregon, where he fell in love with the beauty of the region and knew he’d someday return. After A-School in Yorktown, Virginia, that dream became real. On April 1st, 2022, Wyatt left Virginia and made Florence, Oregon his new home. Morgan grew up in Idaho and had always felt drawn to the Oregon Coast. Her family vacationed near Newport and Seaside, and she fell in love with Lincoln City in her 20s. Though she’d never been as far south as Florence, she knew deep down she would one day live by the ocean. In her early 20s, she spent some time living in Austin, Texas to experience the city life. However, when the chance came to move to the coast, her free-spirited heart didn’t hesitate. Without ever visiting Florence, she packed up her life in Austin and left on the exact same day as Wyatt: April 1st, 2022. For three months, they lived their separate lives in the same small town, unaware of how close they already were. Wyatt, the quiet introvert; Morgan, the warm extrovert. Then came Florence’s first block party since 2019. Morgan was thrilled to meet new people, while Wyatt hadn’t planned to attend—but when one of his Coast Guard coworkers called out sick, he was asked to fill in to give tours of the Coast Guard boat, right in front of River Roasters, the coffee shop where Morgan worked. As Morgan made her way through the block party, she noticed the Coast Guard boat and decided to end her stroll there. That’s when she saw him. One look into those gorgeous brown eyes and everything changed. They still joke about who’s to thank for their meeting, but it was Morgan who took the first step and asked for Wyatt’s number. It was July 15th, 2022—a beautiful, sunny day filled with laughter, luck, and a little bit of magic. From that moment, everything fell into place. Their connection was instant and effortless. Within a year, they were living together, sharing coffee mornings, ocean drives, and the kind of love that feels like home. On September 29th, 2025, Wyatt brought Morgan back to the very spot where he had first asked her to be his girlfriend. This time, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. And here they are—ready to celebrate the next chapter of their love story with all of you!
