Friends and family members, we have decided to get married on February 5th, 2021 (without any postponing or date alterations due to the pandemic). We have a guest list of about 60 friends and family members. We will have masks and hand sanitizer favors available at the venue entrance. Reception tables will be spread 6 feet apart with a seating chart strategized to seat people who drove together or live together. If the pandemic worsens and/or our venue provides certain restrictions, we may have to shorten our list to less than 25 family members. If that happens, we will do our best to update everyone efficiently and accordingly. We understand if you do choose not to attend our wedding due to pandemic traveling and health concerns. We appreciate your love, support, and patience no matter what as we make our plans to become Mr. and Mrs.!

Kat first saw Wyatt while walking down some stairs at UNF. She looked over, saw him in the nearby courtyard, and instantly felt drawn towards him like she needed to know him. She introduced herself and learned they were going to be Resident Assistants that year together! They became friends over the next few months. Later that fall, they went on their first official date to get tacos. At one point Wyatt noticed Kat peering over to the Krispy Kreme donuts next door. He bought a box for them to share for dessert. They then drove back to UNF with a sunset happening as Wyatt sang songs to her in the car. Their love for each other grew after that and a little over a year later Wyatt later proposed at Talbot Island with a picnic. They ate Publix sandwiches (the tastiest kind of sandwiches), went for a walk by the water, and then paused to take some photos by some beautiful driftwood trees. Kat thought the phone was set on timer to take another cute photo and then Wyatt surprised her by taking a video as he got down on one knee to propose.
