In the summer of 2016 Erica traveled across the country from Texas to San Diego to begin her career as a travel nurse. Little did she know, she would reconnect with an old college friend (matchmaker Michelle Clifford) who would introduce Erica to her future life in San Diego. Wyatt, one of Michelle's close friends, was living the bachelor life in San Diego when he unexpectedly met Erica out one night. Shortly after meeting Erica, Wyatt not only fell in love with her but also her "small white hypoallergenic fluffy dog" named Theodore and the rest was history. Flash forward 5 years and here we are planning a wedding in beautiful San Diego. We are SO excited each of you will be apart of it!

The very night before taking off on a 10-day trip to Europe.. Wyatt surprised Erica with a ring at one of their favorite spots in San Diego. Sunset Cliffs, a famous look out spot in Ocean Beach, happened to be one of the first places Wyatt took Erica when she started her Cali life. Erica assumed they were taking Theodore on a walk before meeting Wyatt's parents for dinner. After parking the car at Sunset Cliffs, Wyatt walked Erica out to "their spot" near the cliffs edge. As the sun started to set and Wyatt's anxiety started to max out.. he completely surprised Erica, got down on one knee, and asked to spend the rest of his life with her. He took it one step further and had her mom, sister, and best friend fly in to join the dinner party where they started an all night long celebration. The next morning they departed on the trip of a lifetime to Paris and Italy.. the definition of flying high! See below for a picture from the big moment :)
