Please dress in Garden Party Attire — polished but comfortable outfits that work for an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. Sundresses, jumpsuits, dress shirts, slacks, and light layers are all great choices. Feel free to lean into florals, pastels, or earth tones if you’d like to match our theme! Avoid overly causal clothing such as flip-flops, shorts, or jeans. And please, ladies, no white — that’s the bride’s color!
Guests may begin arriving no earlier than 4:30 PM, as the venue will be closed to the public until then. The ceremony starts promptly at 5:00 PM, with cocktail hour following immediately afterward in the same location—no need to travel between sites.
The venue has a parking lot directly outside the reception and ceremony site, but parking may be tight. To help things go smoothly, we encourage guests to carpool when possible — especially if someone in your group is willing to be a designated driver for the night.
We’ll gather for the ceremony outdoors in the south lawn. Afterwards, we will head into the venue building for the reception, with access to the outdoor patio and yard for games and mingling.
Please RSVP by May 1st, 2026. We hope you can celebrate with us, but we completely understand that life happens! Letting us know by the deadline helps us give an accurate guest count to our vendors and venue so we can plan the day smoothly.
Your invitation lists the guests invited from your household/partners that we’re able to include. Because our guest list is set, we’re not able to offer plus ones or accommodate additional children. We truly appreciate you honoring the names on your invite and celebrating with us.
We truly love your little ones! Because of space and logistics, we’re only able to include certain children in the celebration. If your child is invited, their name will appear on your formal invitation and RSVP form. We understand that many of the children included are part of families traveling in from out of state, and those kiddos are absolutely welcome to attend. That said, if you’re able, we highly encourage treating the evening as a date night and enjoying the celebration kid‑free.
Yes! There will be a bar available during the celebration! We’ll share more details closer to the big day, so stay tuned.
We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture every special moment of our ceremony, so we kindly ask that guests allow them to work without interruption during that time. After the ceremony, we welcome you to take photos and videos to share in the fun and memories of the rest of the celebration!
Absolutely — and then some! If dancing isn’t your thing, there will be plenty games to enjoy! Most importantly, we want everyone to have fun, connect, and celebrate together with friends and family.
We don’t have a hotel block reserved for guests. The Kansas City area has plenty of great hotel and Airbnb options, so you’ll have lots of flexibility in choosing what works best for your stay.
