We're Getting Married

Alex and Elizabeth met each other on Bumble. Elizabeth swiped on Alex because he said he wanted to move to Montana or Wyoming… turns out he hasn’t even been west of I-35. Alex then asked Elizabeth to go on a coffee or dinner date and she politely declined. Elizabeth instantly regretted saying no to him and spent the next couple of days praying about what she should do while trying to drop hints for him to ask again. We finally went out on our first date, Alex picked Elizabeth up in his Ford fucking Ranger and took her to the gun range (she outshot him (barely)) and later went to Costco to get a hot dog and ice cream. Things went so great we went on dates the following 2 days! Alex proposed to Elizabeth on February 10, 2023 at the pond in her neighborhood where they go fishing. He opened the box upside down on accident. She didn’t say yes to him, just laughed… that’s how we got here!

We just bought our first home together! With our schedules and with the house being in progress, neither of us have moved in fully. Alex served 4 years in the Army, graduated from WSU Tech with his A&P license 7/27/2023 and is working full time at Bombardier. Elizabeth is going to the University of Nebraska Omaha to get masters in both Criminology and Social Work, while completing her practicum at A Better Choice and working part time with her family. We absolutely love to go camping and fishing. We also enjoy the more than occasional trip to Taco Bell or Cracker Barrel.
