Question

Garden Cocktail Attire?

Answer

Garden cocktail attire is a playful take on traditional cocktail dress, with an outdoor-friendly twist. Think lightweight fabrics, soft colors, and floral patterns that would complement a garden setting. For ladies, this could mean a mid-length dress with wedge or block heels for walking on the grounds. For gentlemen, a suit or blazer with dress pants works well - tie encouraged but optional. Most importantly, don't stress - we want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy the celebration!

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1, 2026 so we can provide our caterer the final guest count!

Question

Will transportation be provided to/from the venue?

Answer

Shuttles will be provided to transport guests between each hotel and Belmont Manor before and after the wedding. For guests at the BWI Marriott, the first departure time is 3:40PM, and the second departure time is 4:20PM. Return shuttles will depart at 9:45PM and 11PM. For guests at the Roost Hotel, the departure time is 4:15PM, and the return shuttle will depart at 11PM.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking, though we encourage guests to use the hotel shuttles or Lyft/Uber if you plan to imbibe.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

For the Saturday night Wedding: No. To quote our friends Shreya and Geoff who quoted our friends Ibzan and Kelly, "We hope our wedding can be an opportunity for you to grab a sitter and have an evening off!" For the Friday night Welcome Reception at Rye Street Tavern: Yes, children are welcome.

Question

I've never been to a gay wedding - what can I expect?

Answer

Same, diva! Aside from two grooms, you can expect that everyone in attendance will be full of radical love and support for ours and any other same-sex marriage. We recognize that loving us individually is not the same as loving our love - if you're in this boat, we encourage you to send your love virtually!
