Things To Do

THINGS TO EAT! Welcome to New York: the city with 270 restaurants per square mile. We love eating. Though we don't live in Williamsburg/Greenpoint, we've compiled a list of our fav places to eat, in addition to our favorite spots in Manhattan.

Caffè Panna - Ice Cream

16 Norman Avenue, Greenpoint, NY 11222

This place is right across the street from the wedding venue! Get the Cookies and Panna flavor! Don't skip the sauces + panna (whipped cream) + crumbles that come with every scoop

Lilia

567 Union Avenue, Williamsburg, NY 11211

The sheep's milk agnolotti is quote "Jason's favorite pasta that he's ever had!" The reservations are quite hard to get though, so look in advance!

L'industrie Pizzeria

254 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, NY 11211

We go to the West Village location all the time, and the the Fig Jam & Bacon slice is quote "one of Jason's favorite pizzas ever." Atrocious lines though, so be prepared to wait!

Birds of a Feather

191 Grand Street, Williamsburg, NY 11211

Wonderful, upscale Chinese food, the spicy fish fillet is great!

Fairfax

234 W 4th Street, New York, NY 10014

We go to this restaurant probably...once a week. The "Bar Sardine" burger is our second-favorite burger in the city (after the famous 4 Charles burger of course) - get it with the Old Bay Tots!

Umami Sushi

50 Greenwich Avenue, New York, NY 10011

We also go here once a week. Hole-in-the-wall sushi spot with the best value. $29 for 10 piece-nigiri + spicy tuna roll? Unheard of! (Katie is a sushi snob so you know that if she approves, it has to be good.)

Little Ruby's West Village

225 W 4th Street, New York, NY 10014

All around Australian spot with great prices that never disappoints. Top hits: Bronte burger, breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, spicy italian sausage pasta...the list goes on.

Thai Diner

186 Mott Street, New York, NY 10012

The Thai Diner Egg Sandwich is one of the top dishes we've ever had - also don't miss the Thai Tea Babka French Toast

Don Angie

103 Greenwich Avenue, New York, NY 10014

Michelin-starred Italian spot. Put your name down at 5pm, and you'll get a seat! Top hits: chrysanthemum salad, BBQ calamari, any of the pastas, tiramisu.

Benemon

108 East 4th Street, New York, NY 10003

Warm, comforting Japanese home-style cooking (think karaage, curry, donburi) that we love going to in the winter!

Parm Mulberry Street

248 Mulberry Street, New York, NY 10012

The spicy rigatoni is just as good as Carbone's. Don't miss the garlic bread, or the caesar salad, or the chicken parm or meatballs!
