Is there a dress code?

Our color theme is white and green, with yellow and light purple as accent colors. Think long dresses or linen/light suits in muted tones or classic neutrals. Please avoid bright colors and patterns to gently blend in with the landscape. Shoes should be suited for grass and gravel. Warm during the day (~87°F), cooling in the evening (~57°F)—a light layer is recommended.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

For ease of access to the venue (20 minutes), we recommend Hayes Mansion in south San Jose. For sightseeing and other activities before/after the event, we recommend staying in cities such as Cupertino, Mountain View, and Palo Alto (25-45mins to venue).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, complimentary valet parking is available on-site.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have not planned for transportation. For those visiting, we recommend using Uber or Lyft if staying near San Jose ($50-60), or renting a car from SFO/SJC airport if exploring the Bay Area before/after.

Please arrive by 5:30pm, as the ceremony will begin at 6:00pm.

What will the weather be like in San Martin?

Answer

San Martin has a warm, Mediterranean climate with an August average high of 87°F and low of 57°F. We recommend dressing accordingly for a warm ceremony and possible cool evening after sunset.
