Easton and Miranda met on Hinge in December 2019 and went on their first date on February 16, 2020, at Boondocks in Parker, Colorado. From the very beginning, everything felt natural, and Miranda quickly knew Easton was someone special. They officially began dating on May 3, 2020. At the time, Easton was on active duty in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, while Miranda lived in Centennial. Despite the distance and the challenges of starting their relationship during a global pandemic, they made the most of every weekend together. Their connection grew quickly, and within four months they were saying “I love you” and talking about their future. In the summer of 2021, Easton received orders for a nine-month deployment to Iraq. Before he left, they attended a Military Ball and cherished that time together. On September 11, 2021, he deployed, and the uncertainty of not knowing when he would return made it especially difficult. They stayed connected through FaceTime, letters, and care packages, which helped sustain their relationship during one of the hardest seasons of their lives. By the grace of God, Easton returned home on May 3, 2022—exactly on their two-year anniversary. Miranda and her best friend Laney, whose husband was also deployed with Easton, prepared all night to welcome them home. Soon after, Easton took Miranda ring shopping, where they chose her dream ring. In July 2022, he transitioned out of active duty, while Miranda decided to return to school at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She moved in August 2023, and they once again navigated long distance, seeing each other about once a month. During this time, they decided that Easton would move to Texas, and in July 2024, they moved into their first apartment together. After years of long-distance and semi-long-distance, finally living together felt both surreal and deeply rewarding. On August 16, 2025, Easton proposed after months of planning with Miranda’s former roommate, Ember. Under the guise of a going-away party, Ember brought Miranda to Berry Springs Park. Though a few clues made her slightly suspicious, she believed the day was about celebrating her friend. After a long walk to a quiet, scenic bridge, Miranda noticed Ember’s mom with a camera—and in that moment, everything clicked. Overcome with excitement, she handed off her belongings as Easton led her to the center of the bridge. Though nervous, he got down on one knee, pulled the ring from his sock, and asked her to marry him. She said yes, and they celebrated the moment, later learning the entire day had been planned just for her. In October 2025, they returned to Colorado to tour venues and instantly knew Spruce Mountain Ranch was the one. They will be married in July, marking over six years together, and are excited to begin their forever surrounded by family and friends.
