Cocktail- Casual attire is preferred. We ask that you dress in the color scheme of the wedding: Jewel Tones Emerald Green, Ruby Reds, Deep Magenta, Amethyst Purple, and Golden-Rod Yellow. We do ask kindly that you do not wear blue as that color is reserved for special people. Mackenzie and Nick are highlighting their support people as their "Blue Crew", having a special role in the wedding as their version of Something- Blue.
The wedding and ceremony will be held on the grounds of Athletes in Action Headquarters in Xenia, Ohio. The ceremony will be at the Collier Chapel, Cocktail Hour, and Reception at Schindler Banquet Hall. The wedding will be indoors, although Collier Chaple and Schindler Hall are about a 10-minute walk on the property. Alternative handicap parking will be offered upon parking.
Please arrive by 4:15 PM to park and walk to the chapel.
Nick and Mackenzie played along with the new last name "House" and will be hosting their version of Waffle House. Starting with a cereal bar for cocktail hour, coffee, and social time. Leading to a buffet-style breakfast bar! A waffle bar with various sweet and savory toppings, as well as, chicken strips, fruit, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and diced potatoes. Guest will be gifted donut-mind-if-"I Do" donuts from Hole in One Bakery. You will be offered to drink coffee, water, or juice. Rather than a cake, Nick and Mackenzie are having a family dessert table of all of their favorite desserts growing up and passed down from the family.
Unfortunately no. Although we would love to have everyone and anyone there- we need to stick to the list of requested guests that were addressed on the invites. The number of people in your party coming to celebrate with us should correspond to the number listed on your RSVP.
