Our ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM. We recommend arriving by 12:45 PM so you have time to get settled and take in the views before we start. The drive up is beautiful, but the winding mountain roads can add a little extra time. What looks quick on the map may take longer in real life, so give yourself a buffer and enjoy the ride! Cell phone reception gets spotty (and often disappears) as you get closer to the chapel, so we recommend downloading directions in advance just in case.
Dress code is cocktail attire! Ladies, think long or knee length dresses, and gentlemen, suits or sport coats with dress pants. Since the ceremony is held in an open-air mountain chapel, you’ll be exposed to the natural elements. Temperatures tend to be a bit cooler at the top, so a light layer is never a bad idea.
Yes, there is free onsite parking located right next to the chapel, making for a short and easy walk. Space is limited (around 40+ vehicles), and the lot fills quickly, so overflow parking along the access road may be needed. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
The ceremony space includes steps leading down to the front, but there is also a ramp that provides access from the parking area into the chapel.
Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration!
We’ll be getting married rain or shine! The chapel is covered, which helps provide protection overhead, but since it’s not fully enclosed, you may still experience wind, cooler temperatures, or mist depending on the weather. Dressing accordingly (and bringing a layer) will help keep you comfortable.
No, Pretty Place is a ceremony-only venue, so we’ll be celebrating at a separate location afterward
Guests will make their way from the ceremony to the reception by car. We’ll share directions and timing details so the transition is easy and stress-free.

It’s truly a one-of-a-kind location, an open-air chapel sitting at the top of the mountains with views that don’t feel real. The drive up is part of the experience, so take your time, plan to arrive early, and enjoy it. Trust us… it’s worth it
