A must-visit in Thorp! Marieke Gouda is a local gem known for award-winning Dutch-style cheeses made right on site. It’s one of Chloe’s favorite stops—and her favorite cheeses are from here! Not only can you sample and purchase incredible gouda, but the location also features a full restaurant, a viewing window into the cheesemaking process, and a family-friendly play area. Be sure to say hello to the baby calves in the barn! Fun fact: Jesse often hauls silage (aka cow chow!) to the farm with the chopping crew he works for—so you could say we’re a little connected to the place. This is a great stop for families and foodies alike—don’t miss it!
Located just outside of Thorp in Withee, Munson Bridge Winery is the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy some beautiful countryside views. Housed in a restored vintage barn, this winery offers unique fruit wines, a cozy tasting room, and plenty of outdoor seating.
