Our Story
It all started on their first date at a bar tucked away on a side street off Santa Monica Blvd. David and Laura sipped wine and bonded over a love of horror movies.
Fast-forward to the big day: On a visit to Solvang, Laura received an unexpected text message. It was a Cameo video from David Arquette, reprising his role as Officer Dewey from the Scream franchise. He warned Laura that Ghostface was back and needed her help to stop him.
Dewey explained that Ghostface left a clue, “In slasher movies, what do you call the last surviving female?” Horror movie fan that she is, Laura instantly knew the answer: "Final girl.”
As they wandered through the Danish village, something caught Laura's eye: a tasting room for Final Girl Winery. Inside, she found Ghostface’s mask above the mantel. From underneath it, David removed a coffin-shaped ring box, got down on one knee, and asked Laura if she would be his “final girl” forever. She said yes and the two of them lived spookily ever after.
