After a year of dating and long-distance communication it was time to make this a more permanent relationship. Charles asked Tonya to come to Michigan to enjoy a family gathering and meet his family and friends. She was unaware that Charles was secretly planning an engagement party to pop the question. Tonya took her first flight ever to come to Michigan and meet his family. Charles knew if she was willing to make the flight, she was the one for him. At this engagement gathering all of Charles close family and friends showed and approved of Tonya and her wonderful family. Charles did pop the question and Tonya said YES!
