How We Met

Was it LOVE at first sight?

Donald and I met for the first time back in 2010. We worked at Taco Bell together. I was still in high school and only worked during the day and Donald was in college and only worked nights. So as I was leaving work, he was coming to work. It was never much time spent together, always a hi and bye and thats it. As time progressed, Donald and I both went our separate ways to live life. I moved to Monroe to began college and he moved back to Bossier City to start working. Some years later, I was on Twitter and seen one of our mutual friends add him. So I added him and he fell in the DM's! We talked for days. We literally became best friends. We would tell each other everything. Finally, we decided to give the dating life a chance in 2014. We both will admit that it was LOVE at first sight.

The Proposal

On the night of February 12, 2016, Donald came home from work. He was acting a little different, but nothing major. Donald had BIG plans for Valentine's Day that year. All he would tell me was, this will be the best Valentine's ever...But clearly, he could not wait. He walked in late that night, he said close your eyes for your surprise. I was beyond excited because I love surprises. I opened my eyes and he was down on one knee asking, Will You Marry Me? I instantly said yes and began to cry. I was so shocked. I began to call my family and friends to share my exciting news, but they all knew before me. He did a great job!

For all the days along the way
