The world-famous, luxurious Greenbrier Resort was once home to a doomsday bunker, where the continuation of the US government would be carried out in the event of a catastrophic event or invasion. The bunker is now open for tours. The hotel, grounds, and world-class golf courses are also a sight to behold!
Fun, kitschy stop on the "long way" to the New River Gorge. Scenic, TWISTY drive. Another great stop along this route is Hawks Nest State Park.

World famous for absolutely no reason...but it's funny and maybe you can finish a Homewrecker hot dog. They have a wedding chapel too...Carrie really wanted to get married here but we made her settle for having hot dogs for a snack.

Amusement park that is over 100 years old...Camden Park is a small park that is historic and fun! There's a kitschy haunted house ride but the scariest ride is the Big Dipper roller coaster, because you aren't sure it won't fall apart while you zip down the hill!
