Natalie and Anthony met in the Summer of 2019. Natalie had decided to spend the summer after her first year of grad school living with her cousin, Ben, in Nashua and working at the New Hampton Golf and Country Club. One men's night, Anthony was invited to golf out to the course by his now brother-in-law, Craig, and introduced himself to Natalie. After spending many days together before Natalie had to return to St. Louis for school at the end of the summer, they decided to give a long distance relationship a shot. The Summer of 2020 allowed the couple to spend more time together as COVID changed Natalie's school schedule and allowed her to work at the golf course for another summer. After graduating in May 2021, Natalie found a job in Charles City. After lots of careful planning, Anthony got down on one knee on September 4, 2021 while on a weekend away in Rochester, MN.
