The Story of Us - Darius' Version

We saw each other on several occasions, finally talked one night at the Apache cafe and been inseparable ever since.

The Story of Us - Megan's Version

Also known as the W'Right' Story..

We started "courting" December 28 - 29th 2013. We had known each other for a while but re-met at Briana & Rodney's joint birthday gathering at the Apache Café. We have Tiffany and Briana to thank for pushing the two of us together after he bought Briana and me a drink (sex on the beach!!) We became inseparable for the rest of the night with me leaning on his shoulder as we watched the performance at the café, even afterward as we headed to waffle house and then to Sirr's spot Once we got to Sirr's, we claimed a couch off in the corner and spent a good chunk of the rest of the night talking about our hopes, our dreams, our wishes, and our prayers. We learned about each other and the aspirations we have for our lives. The night ended with me cuddled up to him as we drifted off to sleep which turned into a nap because we both had to get up early. We spent the next few months talking to each other and getting to know each other better. We had our first public outing as an "unofficial couple" at Mark's Super Bowl party. I knew that night that I loved him… Like seriously loved him but I knew it wasn’t time to tell him yet We actually told each other "I love you" not long afterward on February 7, 2014 - (he said it first.. Well after I mumbled it.) I knew it wouldn't be long until we made it official. We talked and planned our first official date on March 29, 2014. Yes, the first official date. Everything up until that point had been casual with adamant declarations that we were just friends, but we would end that night as a couple. Fast forward 5 years, and on September 1st, 2018, my grandparent's 67th Wedding anniversary, Darius took me to a park and got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. On April 11, 2020, after 2,296 days of loving this man, I will finally have the joy of becoming his wife and our next chapter will begin. Can't wait to show you why he is #Wrightforme
