Best Man
Hunter and I first met many years ago playing travel baseball—he subbed in on the team I was playing for, and we clicked instantly. What started on the baseball field turned into a lifelong friendship. Over the years, we’ve been through just about everything together, including more than a few arguments—but like true brothers, we've always come back stronger. I had the honor of standing by his side as his best man, and now I’m grateful to have him standing by mine. It's been a privilege to watch him and his family grow, and I’m beyond blessed to call him my best friend.
Maid of Honor
Katherine and I haven’t known each other for long, but it honestly feels like we’ve been friends for a lifetime! We connected through Hanover when she started dating Matthew McCoy, one of Connor’s friends and teammates. When we finally met, I wish we would've crossed paths sooner. From the moment I started yapping, she yapped right back, and we haven’t stopped since. Katherine is one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever met! We quickly became inseparable, and we are both convinced our friendship brought the guys closer together. After graduation, she moved back home, but even though we don’t get to see each other as much as we’d like, we always make time to get coffee, shop, or—our personal favorite—enjoy margaritas. I truly hope this friendship lasts a lifetime!
Groomsman
Drew is one of the best people I know — one of the most down to earth guys you’ll ever meet, with one of the smartest minds around. We met in one of my favorite classes at Hanover College: good old Philosophy with Don Carroll. That class sparked not only a lifelong friendship with Drew, but also with Gavyn and John. Living with those guys during my senior year created some of my favorite memories from Hanover. Now that we live close by to Drew, I’m looking forward to many Reds and Bengals games together. We can’t thank Drew enough for being such an amazing friend to both me and Lauren!
Bridesmaid
Where do I even begin? Jenna and I practically grew up in the gym together. We spent 16+ hours a week practicing side by side, cheered together in high school, went to Bellarmine, and now, thanks to our busy schedules, we catch up over dinner whenever we can. She has this incredible ability to make me laugh, and it’s honestly kind of crazy how similar we are. She’s been with me through it all, and I’m beyond grateful for her. One of my favorite things about our friendship is that we can go weeks without talking, and when we reconnect, it’s like no time has passed. And then there’s our monthly “are you alive?” texts—just our little check-in to make sure we’re both doing okay. There’s absolutely no way I’d be where I am today without her by my side. She’s truly one of a kind, and I’m lucky to have her as a friend.
Groomsman
Owen and I met during my junior year of college when he transferred to Hanover to play baseball—and some would even say I was part of the reason he chose to come. From day one, we hit it off and have been best friends ever since. We share just about all the same interests: sports, golf, and countless hours of video games. Even after graduation, when Owen moved back to Georgia, we’ve kept in constant touch through frequent FaceTimes and phone calls—always catching up on life and chopping it up like no time has passed. While I wish he lived a lot closer, I’m beyond grateful for the bond we have and honored to have him standing with me on such a special day.
Bridesmaid
Andrea and I have known each other for years, and it’s been amazing to see our friendship grow. We first bonded coaching together in high school, then kept it going with our annual coffee dates in college. Now, we’re lucky to hang out with our friend group from time-to-time, and I’m so glad we’ve become even closer. She’s funny and always knows how to bring the party—no matter how packed her schedule is. Let’s not forget, she’s also our favorite PT, always there to pop our backs when we need it most. I’m beyond thankful for her and all the laughter and support she brings into my life.
Groomsman
Matt and I met in college through the baseball team—he was a freshman when I was a sophomore, and like many of my closest friends, we connected right away. Our friendship has only grown stronger over the years, especially since we both live in the same town and still hang out regularly. I’m incredibly thankful to have Matt as one of my best friends, not just for the laughs and good times, but because he’s helped me grow in my faith. After college, he invited me and Lauren to join him, his girlfriend Katherine, and his family at East Side Christian Church, which has become a special part of our lives. One of my favorite traditions now is going to church together and grabbing brunch afterward with Matt, Katherine, Andrea, and Lauren. I’m honored to have Matt standing by my side and I am thrilled for the many rounds of golf we have planned in our future.
Bridesmaid
Shelby is my incredible sister-in-law, and I’m so lucky to have her in my life! She became part of the family several years ago, and since then, she’s brought nothing but laughter and excitement. Whether it was visiting her and Michael in Evansville, standing by their side on their wedding day, helping them move home, or having her play such an important role in my own wedding—each moment with her has been absolutely unforgettable. But honestly, my favorite thing is teaming up against Michael together—it’s always a good time! And of course, our rant sessions are the best therapy. She’s truly one of a kind, and I couldn’t be more thrilled that my brother found someone as wonderful as her to spend his life with.
Groomsman
Gavyn and I met in a pretty funny way. Like most of the guys in my wedding party, we played baseball together at Hanover—he was a freshman when I was a junior. We actually got close thanks to another groomsman, Drew. Drew and I had a philosophy class together, and since he and Gavyn were roommates, I ended up at their place to study before an exam—and that’s when I officially met Gavyn outside of the baseball field. We hit it off right away. By my senior year, I was living with Gavyn, Drew, and John, and let’s just say Gavyn and I were definitely the biggest goofballs in the house. It’s been awesome watching him grow as a person over the years, and I’m truly grateful to call him a friend.
Bridesmaid
Olivia is Connor’s amazing sister, and over the past six years she’s become such an important part of my life. When Connor and I first got together, it didn’t take long for Olivia and I to click. We tend to think the same way about a lot of things, which makes spending time together feel effortless. She’s the kind of person who is both comforting and a total joy to be around—always making every moment feel lighter and more fun. She’s one of those rare people who truly makes life brighter, and I’m so grateful to have her in my life. Not to mention, she’s an incredible cook and always puts together the best spread whenever we come over. She is also one of the very few people who can get me on the dance floor on those fun nights out!
Groomsman
Bradley and I met many years ago through local baseball leagues and continued playing together throughout high school. Over the years, our friendship has only grown stronger, and I’m incredibly thankful to have gotten even closer with him as time has gone on. We even worked together for a short time doing electrical work, which was an adventure every single day filled with laughing, goofing off, and making memories. I’m grateful to have Brad standing by my side and celebrating with us today!
Bridesmaid
Jenna and I met in college while coaching gymnastics together, and from the moment we met, I just knew we were destined to be great friends. We clicked instantly—bonding over our shared passions, a love for coffee, and even the excitement of planning our weddings side by side. Our rant sessions are top-tier, and my favorite texts are the random ones asking if the other wants to grab coffee or dinner. She’s the kind of friend you don’t realize you needed growing up, but God knew exactly when to bring her into my life—right when I needed her most. And at this point, she’s stuck with me for eternity!
Groomsman
John and I met through Drew and Gavyn while playing baseball together at Hanover College, and we became roommates during my senior year. John is truly like a brother to me, and I can’t thank him enough for being there for me during my struggles with my back. Anytime we’re together, there’s always a story or memory being made. I’m excited to watch Johnny continue chasing his dreams, and I’m beyond thankful to have such an incredible friend in my life.
Bridesmaid
Syd and I have been inseparable since day one—literally. Our parents have been best friends for as long as I can remember, and we've grown up side by side. From fearlessly trying wild tricks in my living room as kids while our parents were playing cards in the kitchen to planning and standing by each other’s sides on our wedding days, our bond has only strengthened with time. Even though life has pulled us in different directions and we don’t get to see each other as often as we’d like, we always make the effort to stay connected and spend time together. For that, I’ll always be incredibly grateful.
