Dan and I met in 2009 when a mutual friend introduced us. At the time I was a sophomore and he was a senior in high school. Dan asked me to officially be his girlfriend July 8, 2010. As there were many bumps in the road, Dan and I always found our way back to one another. We welcomed our first daughter, Danika into the world on August 18, 2013. What a blessing it has been to raise such a beautiful, sweet, fun, outgoing girl! Fast forward 6 years we are STILL STANDING! Another beautiful, silly, CRAZY baby girl, Delaney is here to cause chaos and joy. She made her appearance on July 4, 2019! 10 years of dating and the ring pressure was ON. The proposal could not have been more perfect, and well worth the wait. We had dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, The Lake House. Looking back now, I can understand why Dan kept having to use the bathroom and made me drive home so I would stop looking at my phone. When we got home from dinner, we entered the basement and I was VERY much confused. To my surprise I was surrounded by our family and friends. As Dan got down on one knee I was still in shock. When Dan asked me to marry him I was feeling so many emotions. I was shaking and anxious, but most importantly thrilled. I have waited a long time and could not be happier to marry my high school sweetheart. To be able to celebrate that night with all the people we love was the icing on the cake. As we enter this new journey as an engaged couple I can not wait for the future. Celebrating our love with all of you is something we look forward to very much!
