Jake and Liz met in 2005 through mutual friends. They were acquaintances and frequently talked via the once famous AOL instant messenger. Jake secretly had a crush on Liz, though he never told her until 2011. He even claimed he was partially Greek to impress her 😂 (he is not a lick of Greek descent though, sorry YiaYia Eleni!). Their lives went on but they remained silently connected through social media. In 2016, they reconnected. It was at this time, they fell hard and they fell fast. They encountered many ups and downs throughout their story, but one thing remained constant, their loyalty and love to one another. On their 5 year anniversary, June 8th 2021, Jake took Liz to the bench at a nearby park where they first met. He got down on one knee and they decided on forever ♥️
