We're getting married!

Zack and I had seen each other at church for a while. We never really paid too much attention to one another. Ashley: He mentored my little brother and I remember being appreciative. We started to actually become friends (he claims I ignored him) around Fall of 2013 as we worked closer in our youth ministry together. I became aware of my feelings January 2014 and had suspicions that he liked me before then. Our friendship grew for the next few months until we had to declare our feelings for one another. The following July we made it official and have been growing more in love and friendship everyday. I can't wait to be married to my best friend for the rest of my life.

Zack proposed at the High Museum of Art after planning a super artsy outing with a few of our close friends. Ashley was unsuspecting, but prepared because she knew the day was coming soon. Expectations were tempered. As we were taking pictures Zack turned to me and told me how long we'd been dating. That was when I thought ,"Oh, this happening now." Zack got down on one knee after a lovely speech and asked me to marry him. I squeaked out a, "Yes, I will."
