FAQs

Question

Where should I stay and when should I arrive?

Answer

Please see the "Travel" tab and the "Schedule" Tab and then shoot us a text if you still have questions.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive around 2:45 so you can find parking (behind the church off of Academy St., or across Washington St. at the bank) and be settled before the ceremony starts... you don't want to see the dress too soon!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your date's name or " & Guest" was on your invitation we are so excited to see you both, if not, we can't wait to see your beautiful face ... and we promise there will be fun people at your table!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have a beautiful buffet with all allergens labeled and lots of vegetarian/pescatarian/vegan options but if you're particularly concerned PLEASE let us know so we can ensure that you're well fed and happy.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are having an adult only reception and understand that that can be a challenge! Everyone is welcome at the church and we will have a list of sitters that we trust with suggestions for things to do (for older kids) for party time. That being said if your baby needs you please know that your presence is the most important part and just let us know.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no transportation from the hotels to the ceremony but we encourage you to find a friend (or two) and car pool!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Semi-formal... John and the Groomsmen are wearing navy suits, the Bridesmaids are wearing long blue/grey dresses, and Julia is wearing the prettiest dress she's ever tried on... and shocker... it's white! Please avoid black* or white** and we trust your judgement from there. *If the only suit you own/suit that fits is black PLEASE wear it and don't stress!!! **John would like to note that white dress shirts don't count as "white"

Question

Should I wear a fascinator and/or fancy hat?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY!!! The Ladies of the Bachelorette weekend decided they'd like to wear fascinators and are fully supported in this endeavor but obviously head pieces are not required.

For all the days along the way
