We're getting married!

Kristen was spending a fifth year at Michigan State completing a post-bachelors certification and Ethan was completing his second year in medical school. They happened to cross paths with mutual friends at one of Michigan State's finest establishments- Richard's American Cafe.

One cold, kind of snowy afternoon, Ethan suggested that we take our dogs for a walk at a nearby, beautiful park that is home to some of the most unique rock formations in the state of Michigan. As we were nearing the end of our walk, we paused to take in the view of the sun reflecting off of the Grand River. After turning around in observation, I was surprised to see Ethan down on one knee with a tiny gray box in his hand. At that time, he reflected on some of our best memories together and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him making more. That was the easiest 'yes!' that I have ever said!
