Our ceremony will take place at the top of a hill, which requires guests to walk along a grassy (and somewhat bumpy) path. The reception barn has true rustic charm and with that comes some uneven floorboards. We recommend avoiding skinny or unstable heels and opting for thick block heels or wedges! For those that need additional assistance, we will have a hay ride to the top of the hill.
No, but there is plenty of parking space! Guests will be responsible for their own transportation to and from their Airbnbs/Inns. Please note that this location is remote and there will likely not be ubers available in the area, however, should anyone need last-minute transport at the end of the night, we will have select vehicles able to make drop-offs.
As with most small mountain towns...the service isn't AWESOME. There is service in the town, however, once you start to go uphill in the last 10 mins towards the venue, you will likely lose service. This is the perfect time to check out and enjoy yourself! We recommend securing your directions right at your airbnb in case you lose signal along the (beautiful!!) drive.
Though we love your kiddos, this is an adults-only affair
We ask that phones are put away during the ceremony so our photographer can do their thing and get all the good angles! Please take as many photos and videos as you want for the rest of the weekend, and share them with the Bride and Groom via their shared drive folder! (Link available on wedding day)
It's a little unpredictable- sometimes its as warm at 75 degrees, sometimes it's in the 60's! We recommend preparing with a light jacket. Even if the ceremony is warm, it may get a bit chilly in the evening.
