Our Story
Emma and Danny both grew up on the south side of Chicago, where they spent many summers attending Lollapalooza with their friends. On August 3rd, 2014, Emma and Danny were introduced to each other at a Cage the Elephant concert at Lolla. “Cigarette Daydreams” is a song that will forever hold a special place in Emma’s heart! (Danny’s too, although he may be reluctant to admit it) Since that day, Danny and Emma have grown together through many chapters of their lives, always supported by the love and encouragement of their parents, families, and friends.
Ten years of countless laughs, anniversary dates at Smith & Wollensky’s, White Sox games that prove the statement “God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers” (Emma trying to cheer Danny up after MANY Sox losses), and adventures in places that feel like home (St. Louis, Puerto Vallarta, Bucerías, & Bucktown, to name a few). A love that they often describe as "the gift that keeps on giving".
