I walked out of work looking for my supervisor to discuss a part needed for a job. Knowing he was at his lunch break but also knowing he didn’t like being disturbed during his lunch break. I proceeded and found him outside eating. As I was approaching, I saw him and started explaining the situation. As I got closer I realized he had company, glanced over, saw a “dime piece” and quickly apologized for me interfering. After being introduced to my soon to be wife. While I was explaining the problem, I noticed out of the corner of my eye this lady couldn’t keep her eyes off of this young stallion. Keeping a coffee cup over her mouth to hide her smirk. I had a nervous chill after seeing her that I couldn’t even glance her way and was choking on my words. After the situation was answered. I said my goodbyes, glanced again at Tammy and realized her smile was so big the cup wasn’t hiding it anymore. Went inside work, and started preparing to make this girl mine.
Dane took me to Fired Up Paint & Pottery on a date. We painted coasters, something we thought we might actually use. He was so nervous, but I just assumed he was nervous about trying something new and he was really tired. As things were wrapping up, Dane asked if they ever played music that it was too quiet. So, our instructor turned some music on. It came time to clean up. I gathered up our dishes and went to the sink to rinse them out. Part way through, our song came on: "All or Nothing" by Theory of A Deadman. I turned around to say "It's our song", and he was down on one knee. Cue the ugly cry and the inaudible "yes" that he had to ask me if I actually said yes. Fun fact: We were the first proposal at Fired Up Pottery & Glass!
