We’re getting married!!

It all started when Sammy and Nate moved into college across the hall from each other their freshman year. Sammy decided to leave some “non-alcoholic” beverages outside Nate’s door to welcome him and his roommate as new neighbors. Sammy and her roommate and Nate and his roommate were the only people moved in at the time on that floor due to having to be there early for sports. It wasn’t until the end of the week that Nate and Sammy had their first conversation at the RA floor meeting. That conversation would then lead to Nate and Sammy becoming best friends and now to getting married. Sammy, Nate and their roommates would hang out almost every day. Getting food, exploring the southwest virgina area, and so much more. It wasn’t until December 29th, 2022 that Sammy and Nate would start dating. There was no doubt in their minds that they were the right one for each other. Ever since Sammy graduated in May 2024, they have had to do a long distance relationship. Having to facetime, call and text to check in and grow in their relationship. Putting lots of miles on each of their cars to travel and see one another. After 2.5 years of dating, Nate finally proposed on July 20th, 2025 at his family beach trip in the Outer-Banks. Now they are getting ready to spend the rest of their lives with each other! Trusting in the Lord every step of the way.
