Sometimes the smallest moments end up changing everything. We met in a very organic way, during a season of life where neither of us could have expected what was ahead. At the time, I was interviewing for a position at the office where he worked. He likes to say we met in an elevator while I was on a temporary assignment there, but the real story is that while I was sitting in the lobby, he heard from a little bird that there was a girl he should probably go say hi to. So he did. Our first meeting was incredibly brief, just a simple hello. Shortly after, I ended up leaving the company after only a week of training because it wasn’t quite what I was looking for. At the time, neither of us knew that quick hello would eventually turn into something so much more. A few months later, we found each other on LinkedIn, and what started as a simple conversation quickly became the beginning of our relationship. From there, we began building a life together filled with excitement, travel, new experiences, laughter, learning, and growth. Together, we’ve created a life that feels completely our own. We’ve supported each other through new chapters, celebrated big and small milestones, explored new places, and continued growing into the best versions of ourselves, both individually and as a couple. What began as a brief hello in an office lobby became the start of the greatest adventure of our lives. And now, we can’t wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife, and a puppy after our honeymoon!! :))
