Our story began in the summer of 2023 while working in Charlotte, North Carolina. What started as a unique encounter quickly became something more meaningful. From the very beginning, there was an undeniable connection between us. Even before we formally met, our eyes kept locking, and there was a quiet understanding that something was different. We both felt it. We quickly became inseparable. Not long after dating, life took us in different directions, and our relationship became long-distance. It strengthened what we were building. We definitely burned up the highway during that season, but we never gave up. The love we share has always been intentional, like the game of chess, every move precise. A true pursuit as we show up and out for one another. We became more consistent, more grounded, and more certain, learning early on that love is an action, not just words. Love is words set into action. Faith has always been at the center of our relationship, and even in imperfections, grace has been sufficient. From the beginning, we covered each other in prayer, usually on our morning rides to work, spoke life over one another, and leaned on God through every season. That foundation continues to guide us. As time went on, it became clear that what we had was not by chance. It felt aligned. It felt purposeful. We are best friends. Best friends who laugh, strategize, create, finish each other’s sentences, explore and travel together, and we love our families deeply. Most of all, we have found peace in each other. He is a strong, devoted gentleman, steady and intentional in every move, and she is grace, purpose, and favor, all in one. From our first date at the theater to a proposal that brought everything full circle, our story has always felt like a movie… but it just got real. From first date to forever.
