We're getting married!

We met in February of 2018 while we were both working at Groucho's Deli in Lexington. Quickly catching one another's eye, we began getting to know each other and started officially dating on March 3rd of that year. Even with so much uncertainty surrounding graduation and college, we promised one another that we'd make it work no matter what. Lizzy decided to attend The University of South Carolina, while Bennett would attend The Citadel. Going to college two hours away from each other wasn't ideal, but we knew we had a relationship that was worth the trouble of long-distance. Through Bennett's knob year and Lizzy's first year as an accounting major, times stayed difficult but our relationship grew stronger than ever. Weekends during the school year became all the more important, as one of us was always making the drive to Columbia or Charleston to spend a few short days before making the trip back to school. We pushed through the first year with love and support from one another and did the same for the two years after that. Though the distance has been trying, we have certainly made the most of it. From snowboarding trips during Christmas break to beach getaways in the summer, we have never stopped loving one another and enjoying the life we've started to build together. We are so excited to have you join us in this giant step in our relationship. Here's to a lifetime of love, happiness, and growing up together. Forever and a day.
