FAQs

Question

What are the accommodations for out-of-town guests?

Answer

There are 32 cabins on-site at the wedding venue. We have sent emails containing a booking link and cabin number to the guests that have reached out to us requesting a cabin. THE LINK IS NOW LIVE!! You will be able find the link under the "Travel" tab. In addition to the cabins, we have reserved a block of rooms at The Four Points by Sheraton in Scotts Valley, CA. The link to book a room/rooms for a discounted rate is located under the "Travel" tab. We highly suggest you consider booking a room for the night before the wedding; this is to ensure that there is no conflict between your check-in time, the shuttle departure time, and the start of the wedding.

Question

Where and how should I RSVP?

Answer

There are RSVP cards inside the envelope that the invitation was mailed with. You can also RSVP directly on the website. You can send your RSVP cards to the mailing address below: 749 Palomino Dr Apt A, Pleasanton, CA, 94566

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Classic Formal Fall Attire. Dress for the weather. The wedding venue is outdoors so our guests should consider wearing shoes that will be comfortable in a forest setting.

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

Yes. The registry can be found on this website under the "Registry" tab located at the top. We are registered at Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and Anthropoligie. If you prefer to bring a gift to the wedding, you are more than welcome to.

Question

Will food and drinks be served?

Answer

Yes. There will be a cocktail hour following the ceremony that will include an array of appetizers and an open bar. Additionally, the Reception will also include a buffet and an open bar. The open bar will include a selection of beer, wine and our signature cocktails. Both appetizers and the buffet will include vegan options.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors amongst the gorgeous redwoods. The reception will take place outside as well. There is a barn next to the reception area where our guests are welcome to dance and have a good time. Please keep in mind, most people will have to walk downhill from the ceremony location to the reception area. There will be internal shuttles available for anyone who has any limitations. You will probably want to refrain from wearing high heels :)

Question

Is there a schedule of events?

Answer

We recommend that our guests arrive at 3PM. The ceremony will start at exactly 3:30PM. The shuttle departure and arrivals from the hotel parking lot, and from the church parking lot, are timed so that our guests can arrive at the venue on-time for the wedding.

Question

What do I need to know about shuttles/ transportation to the wedding venue?

Answer

There will be NO parking at the venue. Unless you are staying in the cabins you are REQUIRED to shuttle in. If you are NOT staying at the hotel you will be parking at the St. Andrews Church and waiting for a shuttle there. The average time of travel from location pick up to the venue will be around 30 min. The pick up locations will be: St. Andrews Episcopal church (101 Riverside Ave, Ben Lomond, CA)- This will be your parking spot if you are not staying at the hotel or overnight at the venue. Four Points by Sheraton in Scotts Valley, CA if you are staying at this hotel the night before or the night of.
