A must-visit for book lovers! The Book Loft is a charming, maze-like bookstore tucked into historic German Village (our neighborhood). With 32 rooms of books, winding staircases, and cozy corners, it’s easy to get lost (in the best way). It's surrounded by cobblestone streets, coffee shops, and bakeries for a perfect afternoon stop.
Fox In The Snow Cafe
Just blocks from our home, this coffee shop and bakery is one of our favorites! Fox in the Snow is known for its cozy atmosphere, amazing pour-over coffee, and giant pastries that are almost too pretty to eat. It’s the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a relaxed afternoon treat.
Short North
Located just north of downtown, Short North is one of Columbus’s most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods. It’s full of art galleries, boutique shops, murals, coffee spots, and amazing restaurants—perfect for exploring during the day or enjoying nightlife after dinner.
Land-Grant Brewing Company
Located in the heart of Franklinton, Land-Grant Brewing Co. is a laid-back local brewery with a spacious beer garden and rotating food trucks. During the winter you can reserve an outdoor igloo or play curling outside! It's a great spot to hang out and try some craft beers.

Pins Mechanical Co. is a fun indoor spot featuring duckpin bowling, arcade games, and pinball, along with a wide selection of craft beers and cocktails, great for a fun, casual night out.
North Market Downtown
If you’re looking to try some of Columbus’s best local flavors all in one place, North Market is a must-visit. This indoor public market features dozens of vendors—from international eats to artisan pastries, coffee, and handmade goods. It’s casual, fun, and perfect for lunch, snacks, or wandering around.
