Her Version: I was in the same military unit as Vic for 3 WHOLE years crushing on him ever since he walked up to me on my first day complimenting me on my singing. I would ask around who he was and if he was single. He was NOT! But we didn't know that because he's so introverted. Anyways. By the third year, I was fed up with the flirting from afar and decided to take matters into my own hands. I was on the planning team for a field exercise with our unit and noticed that his number was not on the roster. I volunteered to collect the numbers of the missing soldiers.
