How far is Dominical from San Jose?

Answer

Domincal is approximately 3-3.5 hour drive from the San Jose airport. There is a local Quepos airport that you can fly into from San Jose, but will require a separate booking. There are also shuttles that can transport you form the San Jose Airport to your hotel or rental car pick up.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

No! You do not have to rent a car, though it is ideal if you plan to explore the area.

What do I wear?

Answer

The dress code for all events is Tropical Casual. Think resort wear, bright topical prints, and lightweight - it is very humid is Costa Rica. The Reception will be on a boat and yes we will be able to go swimming and snorkeling, so plan on wearing a bathing suit. We will go directly from the ceremony to the boat, you will not have time to return to your hotel to change. Please either wear your bathing suit to the wedding with a cover-up, or bring one to change into.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Yes! There will be Transportation form the Hotel to the Ceremony as well as from the Ceremony to the Reception.

Do I need a passport to travel to Costa Rica?

Answer

Yes! Please make sure that your passport is up to date for international travel.

Will my phone work in Costa Rica?

Answer

What's App is the best option for using your phone in Costa Rica. You can text, call and FaceTime with wifi. This is what we will be using while we are in Costa, so this is the best way to reach us with while we are there.

Although we love children, kids are not welcome at any events for the weekend.
