Some people don’t believe in soul mates or fate. CJ was one of those people once upon a time ago. When he and A’na met, they were both in relationships with the wrong people (They didnt know it yet). They didn’t even say more than a few words to each other until a couple of years later when they re-connected on facebook. A’na had moved back to Georgia after getting her heart “broken” for the last time because she decided she didn’t want to run away anymore. She loved being in the south and an ex-boyfriend wasn’t going to stop her from living where she was happy. During the years they didn’t see each other, CJ had separated from his previous cohabitation and deployed to Bahrain. It was divine intervention that brought him and A’na together once again. They were both finding their way back to God and finding the courage to love again. Fast forward a little and talks about marriage after less than a year of dating had become something they both just knew was in the stars for them. There were trials. Boy were there trials. A’na was becoming a military wife and helping raise a child that she didn’t give birth to at a young age. Some speculated it wouldn’t work out.... But here they are, 10 years later, celebrating with all of you, with two beautiful children, 6 duty stations down and lots of stories to share. So many things could’ve torn them apart and almost did along the way, but that’s why they believe they are soul mates... “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate” -Mark 19:6
