In an age of left and right swiping, we met the old-fashioned way on Match.com. Our first date was on May 7, 2016, at Cafe Arazu in Newburgh, and we've only had eyes for each other ever since!

We were engaged on a lovely winter evening on December 29, 2017 (and by lovely, we mean freakin' cold). The date started at our favorite restaurant in the area, Commonwealth Kitchen & Bar in Henderson, Kentucky. Heather could tell Brandon was nervous. She thought it was because we were watching the Northwestern versus University of Kentucky bowl game, and Heather was cheering on her Northwestern Wildcats while surrounded by UK fans! After dinner, we took a drive through the Fantasy of Lights. The evening ended with Brandon proposing at Haynie's Corner, which is one of our date night go-to spots.
