Travel Note
We recommend guests to stay within south-east of Namsan Mountain and north-west of Dosan Park for easier access to the wedding venue and key attractions in the city. (Protests frequently take place in Gwanghwamun Square during weekends, and a typical 15 minute car ride often ends up taking more than an hour.) Please also note that Google Maps is only partly available in South Korea due to national security regulations, so we suggest downloading Naver Map or Kakao Map prior to arrival.
Hotel
Indisputably the most iconic hotel in Korea, The Shilla was opened by the founder of Samsung in 1979, prior to which it served as the state guest house of South Korea. You can find discounted rates for your stay through the link below. Guests will be asked to show their wedding invites at check-in.
Hotel
Located 10 minutes away from The Shilla, Grand Hyatt Seoul has been the traditional venue of choice for US presidential visits and serves as the symbol of the South Korea-U.S. alliance.
Hotel
Located in Apgujeong, the centre of Seoul, Andaz Seoul provides easy access to all major attractions in the city.

For larger groups and/or those seeking a more traditional experience, we recommend taking a look at Hanoks, a style of housing first built in the 14th century during the Joseon Dynasty. A list of highly reviewed Hanoks can be found in the link below.
