March 2021, they met at the Amazon Delivery Station during the night shift. At the time, their schedules were shifted so they at least saw each other three out of the four days scheduled. Giordan happened to notice his Green Bay Packers mask and felt elated that there were more fans like her in the Reno area. She walked up said, "Hi; I love your mask. Are you a Green Bay fan?" A simple nod was given in her direction, and she responded, " That's cool, so am I. We can be Packer buddies!" In this moment, this caught Will off guard because he wasn't expecting anyone to talk to him or let alone have a common topic to share and relate with in the workplace. While continuing together at work, they ended up achieving being on the safety team together and making history, setting records. Many days followed and the two of them began to slowly talk to each other; some days being longer than others, but the conversations felt like there was never a pause. As they continue to talk over time, later leading to still sit in the parking lot and talk until dinner time and leading to more phone calls, video calls, and texts into the late hours on their weekends, it would soon lead to them considering the inevitable question, "Were they simply meant to be?"

October 2021, it was a concert-filled weekend in Reno, starting with Saturday with the In Between Tour featuring In This Moment, Black Veil Brides and DED, then Sunday with the Re-Entry Tour featuring A Day to Remember, Asking Alexandria and Point North, with both days being held at the Grand Sierra Resort. Giordan and Will made sure to plan for a couple days off to recover from this weekend as this was going to be crazy. They did the Saturday concert and lived it up. Then come Sunday, as they were getting ready for the concert, little did they know this was a moment that would change their lives. They sang and danced, they screamed their lungs out and lived for the moment, never wanting it to end. A song by A Day to Remember called "Rescue Me" was a song Giordan shared with Will during one of their conversations regarding meaningful songs they appreciate in that current moment and time. When the song started playing, it brought them closer to each other. Giordan was crying on Will's shoulder because of the power of the lyrics and hearing it live was unimaginable to describe. After the concert, Giordan found the strength to ask Will to be a couple and to his response, lifting her high into the air, spinning her around while hollering out of excitement and telling her YES!

If you thought the first part was a moment to never forget, this topped it and some! Fast forward to about 6 months after becoming the new couple of the town, Will and Giordan had been planning on their upcoming first anniversary and of course, a concert celebration of some sort sounded like the way to go. As they were looking up various artists and seeing what was close by, "A Day To Remember" was showing to perform at the Aftershock Festival 2022 in Sacramento, CA in October, a week before their anniversary date. As they planned for this and prepare for this new experience, they end up working overtime to cover everything for this trip and making it worth the memories. As they were living up the weekend, they got to see plenty of artists, lounge in the VIP section in the shade, enjoying drinks and meeting people that shared the same love of music. Come the third day, it was the day the moment would finally come as a surprise to Giordan and prepare nerves for Will. As they rocked the day away, the moment for A Day To Remember to perform was coming soon. Little did Will know, they would play the set list in reverse from a year ago and Rescue Me would play as the third song, sending panic to his mind. As the song "Rescue Me" was playing, he watched as his soon-to-be fiancé was dancing and swaying to the lyrics, having a blast, not realizing the moment coming so swiftly. As soon as the song finished and the next song would play in the background, he tapped her shoulder as he knelt down on one knee, opening the ring box, speechless in the moment, all he could utter was, "Will you marry me and make me the happiest man on earth?" As Giordan said yes, she embraced Will with tears in her eyes, speechless and with a crowd behind them cheering them on, taking pictures and videos to commemorate the moment. As "If It Means A Lot To You" plays on in the background, Will was able to say his speech like he wanted and embrace Giordan close, savoring the moment.
