Please have your RSVP arrive no later than March 1, 2023.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive between 4:30 and 4:45 pm.

Suggested Attire: Semi-formal (Please no jeans)

Is the wedding on the beach?

Answer

No. The ceremony takes places in the Cavalier Hotel sunken garden.

Can I bring a date?

All intended guests will receive invitations.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. Please remember this is a destination for us as well, so everything has to fit in our cars. Feel free to ship gifts directly to our house.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Wedding day parking at the Cavalier Hotel is complimentary if you mention to the valet team that you are there for the Wood/Gowdy wedding. Overnight parking is $26/night.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. Rain or shine, the reception will take place in a tent on the Great Lawn with an ocean breeze.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Please NO PHOTOS during the ceremony and other monumental events (ie, first dance, cake cutting). We have professionals for that :)

Are there any hotel room block restrictions?

Answer

All reservations made through the room block require a two-night minimum stay.
